Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing evenly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set. Let cool slightly before serving.
