- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of butter on each side of the rolls and sprinkle with garlic powder if using.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the skillet and top with shredded cheese.
- Cover with the top halves of the rolls and cook until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked ham or bacon slices for extra flavor.
- Use your favorite cheese blends for a richer taste.
