Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the steaks 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to desired doneness.
- Remove steaks and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and thyme. Cook until butter is melted and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Pour the butter sauce over the rested steaks before serving.
