- 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread
- 2 cups cooked spaghetti
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bread horizontally and hollow out the center, leaving a thick border.
- Mix cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce and half the cheese.
- Stuff the mixture into the bread bowl.
- Brush the outside of the bread with olive oil and minced garlic.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, topped with remaining cheese before finishing.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Ensure the bread is sturdy enough to hold the spaghetti. You can prepare the filling ahead and refrigerate until assembly. For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or sautéed vegetables.
